The Handler Vincenzo Bompadre
The Handler: is the person that conducts and introduces the dog in the ring in the exposures of dog loving. My passion for the dogs is exploded in 1998 when my father Franco began to raise hounds and my cousin, Daniele Tabarrini, to raise Alaskan Malamute. This was the first footstep toward the world of the canine exposures.
In 2004, the love at first sight: I saw one of the most beautiful dogs that my eyes have ever been able to see!! The subject in matter was an Aaskan Malamute named Kuma, raised by the Sig.ra Anna Albrigo of the breeding of Selvaspina. Up to that moment I was not very interested in the canine breeding since I could not have the space suitable of which every dog would have need but my thought in such sense it was always present.
In 2006, for reasons for job, I have moved to Parma and having then many green spaces of ownership, I decided to ask to my cousin to give me a female of Alaskan Malamute (Camilla) to hold with me. This was a really special gift!!! For before thing it was a daughter of Kuma and above all because it was my first dog. The canine breeding and the following presentation of the subjects in the ring have become my passion and subsequently my profession and for this I consider me a privileged. This thanks to the teachings of Daniele that he has transmitted me an irreplaceable baggage of notions and information respect the breeding and the united handling to the constant job done in these years with the Alaskan Malamute and thanks also to the trips to Europe that I have done for introducing numerous subjects that are often winning results in the rings.
To prepare a show dog means to take care of every small detail that allows to give the correct prominence to the subject. The study of the best presentation will exalt its merits and the physical preparation it will allow him to be in perfect form. Its movement must be elegant and powerful capturing the careful eye of the judge.  Its attitude in the ring can improve notably if the correct job will devote him to the formation and the development of its character. To stimulate in corrected way the dog, trying to give to like him in to work, will allow him to have that positive attitude and that own and particular expression that it characterizes every great champion. The daily job with the handler develops that feelings and that harmony that create then show in the ring. The care of his career and his energies must be always of the objectives to focus for getting great results in the rings and accordingly a positive return of image for the breeding, but the comfort of the dog and its health must be always to the first place in the planning of the job and the exhibition. The secret of a great and lasting success is in fact, to my opinion, the perfect equilibrium between game and job, preparation and fun. If your friend will live the competitions in this way it won't be able whether to always give the maximum one in every situation. Those people that do of this activity a real profession are defined PH or Professional Handler: they occupy both of the grooming and of the career and of the presentation of the different subjects in the rings of exhibition.
ANXIETY FROM SEPARATION
 We first of all Depart from the depth bond that is established between the dog and his owner, independently that you deal with a dominant or subdued dog, the dog lives the moment of the separation as a moment of great suffering and desperation.
In the case of a dominant dog the absence of his owner is lived as the separation of a mother by its children, in the case of an inhibited or subdued dog as the abandonment of the head flock and therefore he will feel only and without point of reference. It will need to look for, even if it is ugly to say it, to ignore the dog when we are in the house, not to hold to sleep him on beds and couches so that the dog understands what his and your spaces are and it don't occupy them. We enter in some room and let's leave only some second as soon as it stops crying we go out. It needs that few for time understands that it is able to be only without us, when we are with him let's get away his games and let's return him them when we decide to go... not worried you when the problem will be resolved we can be returned to the normal life.
